A new chapter has begun at 8 Beresford Street, our beautiful historic site in St Helier that’s been part of the JP Restaurants family since 2012.

Originally built in the 1890s as a Victorian Gentlemen’s Club, the former private members’ rooms became home to our headquarters and Banjo restaurant more than a decade ago.

Now, it has been lovingly transformed once again, reopening as Beresford House: a new destination bringing together food, drinks, private events and overnight stays in the heart of St Helier.

Step inside and you’ll find The Dining Room, our elegant restaurant serving Jersey seafood, seasonal dishes and expertly cooked steaks; The Conservatory, a relaxed all-day space for brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks; and The Old Vic, our Free House pub for after-work drinks, pub classics, cocktails and live sport.

Upstairs, our boutique 8 Beresford Street bedrooms offer a stylish place to stay in the heart of town, while our private event spaces provide a distinctive setting for celebrations, gatherings and special occasions.

It’s a building with plenty of history – but this is a new chapter.
